Internal Medicine Full-Time position in Madison, Wisconsin

Job Summary:
The Division of Hematology, Medical Oncology and Palliative Care seeks a physician scientist, MD or MD/PhD, in medical oncology research, including bench and translational studies, genomics, precision medicine and therapeutics.
The primary focus will be on mechanisms underlying the development and treatment of cancers in CNS, GU, GI, or Sarcoma.
The physician scientist will be expected to engage in active collaborative research and build clinical and/or translational research in the division and obtain/maintain independent extramural funding.

Qualifications:
Completion of an accredited fellowship training program in medical oncology.
Experience in translational research, with a track record of successful publications in peer reviewed journals, strong written and verbal communication skills, commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion, evidence of excellence in teaching and current or high potential to obtain extramural funding.
Through these efforts, the ability to enhance national recognition for our division and the University of Wisconsin Carbone Cancer Center.

License/Certification:

ABIM - American Board of Internal Medicine Certification
Must be Board Eligible or Board Certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine.
Must have completed an accredited fellowship training program in Medical Oncology.
Must be eligible for a Wisconsin medical license.
