Position Summary:

The Payroll Analyst is responsible for supporting the Payroll Manager and the Payroll Administrator.

This is a Hybrid role out of our global headquarters in Wood Dale, IL (onsite 3x per week).

In your main role at Videojet, you will:

Drives for Results

  • Assist with the processing of payroll for multiple company codes on a weekly and biweekly basis
  • Assist with researching and resolving timecard and pay discrepancies as needed
  • Coordinate weekly feed from Workday to ADP for employee changes to ensure accuracy and identify any retro pay or other payroll adjusts as needed
  • Coordinate and process new hires, terminations, leave, bonuses, commissions, and one-time payments in ADP
  • Run ADP reporting, including Payroll Registers, Statistical Summary, New Hire Reporting
  • Other requests as needed from HR, Finance, and other departments

Leads Continuous Improvement

  • Analyze existing processes, systems, reports, data analysis and outputs within the payroll dept and recommends potential improvement opportunities

Relationships and Influence

  • Reports to the Payroll Manager
  • Partners with HR and Finance teams
  • Partners with broader organization to drive standardizations and continuous improvements


Your Education and/or Background Experience will have:

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • 10+ years of increasing responsibility in various accounting and payroll roles
  • Fundamental Payroll Certification (FPC) or Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) preferred
  • Knowledge of ADP Enterprise, V6 and ADP eTime systems preferred
  • Proficiency in data in entry and Microsoft Excel
  • Basic Accounting knowledge
  • Fluent in English language proficiency
