Cell Therapy is expanding with numerous cell projects being developed by academic centers and industry. The development of a cell therapy product is complex and requires integration of multiple disciplines with a common purpose. We have proven our capacity for leadership in the field of cell therapy by developing novel therapies such as viral CTLs and a CAR NK program. We are currently world leaders in the use of CAR-NK to treat cancer.
LEARNING OBJECTIVES
Apply technical expertise and experience to plan, coordinate, design, supervise, and carry out research projects. Plan, organize, coordinate, direct, and participates in scientific research projects. Assigns and reviews work of subordinates determines specific goals or objectives to be attained, evaluates resulting research data, and revises techniques or approaches to work problems. Compile, write, and submit reports to superiors.
ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
Candidates must have a Ph.D. or MD in Natural Science or a related field.
Excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently within a research team.
POSITION INFORMATION
MD Anderson follows the NIH stipend levels as outlined by the Kirchstein - NRSA ) . This full-time trainee position will provide a salary between $56,484 to $68,604, dependent upon the years of postgraduate experience.
