Job Title: Project Manager with background in Bioinformatics.

Location: East Hanover - NJ USA.

Role and Responsibilities:
  • 17 to 20 years of experience the ideal candidate will drive our initiatives forward ensuring they meet strategic goals and are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Lead the planning and implementation of project tasks in the field of bioinformatics and research & development.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure project achievements are met efficiently.
  • Apply bioinformatics knowledge to solve complex problems in project development.
  • Ensure projects adhere to frameworks and all documentation is maintained appropriately for each project.
  • Assess project risks and issues and provide solutions where applicable.
  • Ensure customer views are managed towards the best solution.
  • Chair and facilitate meetings where appropriate and distribute minutes to all project team members.
  • Create a project management calendar for fulfilling each goal and objective.
  • Apply expertise in research and development to guide project direction and focus.
  • Foster a positive work environment that encourages innovation and teamwork.
  • Monitor project progress and adjust as necessary to ensure successful completion.
  • Communicate effectively with all team members and customers to keep the project aligned with organizational goals.
  • This role is pivotal in bridging the gap between complex biological data analysis and the development of new technologies that will have a significant impact on society.
Required Qualifications:
  • Must have a deep understanding of bioinformatics capable of demonstrating this knowledge to drive project success.
  • Proven experience in research and development with a strong ability to apply this expertise in a project management context.
  • Excellent organizational communication and leadership skills with a track record of managing complex projects.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team and to engage constructively with collaborators from various backgrounds.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the capacity to make decisions based on accurate and timely analysis.
  • Commitment to continuous learning and improvement in both technical and project management areas.
  • Experience in managing projects within stipulated timeframes and budgets ensuring the highest quality of work.
