Job Title: Assistant Restaurant Manager

An Assistant Restaurant Manager primarily assists the Restaurant Manager, Shift leaders, and Team. They carry out all tasks of the Restaurant Manager when needed. Main duties typically involve floor operations and Brand Training programs.

The primary focus is on providing strong, positive leadership to the team, ensuring excellent guest experiences, operational efficiency, and contributing to increasing the revenue of a single restaurant.

They assist the Restaurant Manager in running the restaurant according to Dunkin' standards, franchisee policies, procedures, and in compliance with relevant laws.

Responsibilities Include:
  • Able to carry out all tasks assigned to restaurant team members
  • Conduct team meetings in collaboration with the Restaurant Manager
  • Supervise Brand Training Programs, schedule, train, validate, certify team and shift lead staff
  • Ensure adherence to Brand standards, recipes, and systems
  • Foster a guest-focused culture in the restaurant
  • Analyze guest feedback and implement strategies for enhancement
  • Communicate restaurant objectives, targets, and results to team members
  • Assist in new product launches along with the RM, including training and marketing activities
  • Implement Point of Purchase in-store setups following Brand guidelines
  • Uphold a safe, secure, and hygienic environment by enforcing safety, food safety, and sanitation regulations
  • Control expenses to maximize profitability
  • Conduct inventories as per the Franchisee's guidelines
  • Aid RM in preparing the weekly labor schedule to ensure optimal staffing levels
  • Assist RM in staff assignment and deployment
  • Support RM in placing orders with suppliers and vendors
  • Perform self-assessments and develop action plans accordingly
  • Ensure restaurant budget goals set by the Franchisee are achieved
  • Manage cash discrepancies in the restaurant and ensure adherence to cash management policies
  • Engage with Dunkin' Brands Field Operations team as required
Management Responsibilities Include:
  • Recruit, hire, onboard and develop restaurant team members
  • Assist in team and shift lead performance evaluations
  • Coach team members to enhance sales, profitability, and guest satisfaction
Education/Experience:
  • Basic computer skills
