Essential FunctionsMaintain a pleasant, friendly, and welcoming attitude toward all external and internal customers at all times.
Monitor staffing levels to ensure budgetary compliance.
Participate in interviewing and selecting new team members and train and develop team members.
Issue disciplinary action as needed.
Assign work to team members and monitor for timely and proper completion.
Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed.
Produce and deliver reports as needed.
Review housekeeping and maintenance activities with Facilities Manager.
Respond to calls promptly and professionally.
Have complete knowledge of all casino events and promotional activities.
Keep work area in a clean and orderly manner.
Ensure the safety and security of all customers and team members.
Comply with all policies and procedures established by Bally's Kansas City Casino and departmental management.
Other duties as assigned or any reasonable request from any member of management.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, And Other CharacteristicsA high school diploma or GED is preferred.
At least two years of experience in maintenance and/or environmental services of a large facility or plant operations is required.
Must obtain Missouri Gaming Commission occupational license.
Familiarity with applicable OSHA regulations.
Working knowledge of building systems, tools, and maintenance and housekeeping equipment.
Appropriate use of personal computers, telephones with voice mail system, fax and copy machines, and two-way radios.
Must be able to work any assigned shift, including late nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime.
Read, write, and understand complex instructions and technical information.
Communicate appropriately with all casino customers, casino departments, and fellow team members.
Understand and adhere to all Missouri Gaming Commission regulations and any other applicable federal, state, and/or local regulations.
Accurately perform all assigned job duties in a high-volume, fast-paced environment under frequent time pressures.
