Are you looking for a feline-focused position within a nonprofit shelter medicine team? Does the idea of helping cats, kittens, and people bring a smile to your face? Join us Cat Adoption Team is seeking a part-time veterinary assistant.

Our onsite, full-service veterinary hospital offers quality, compassionate care to our feline friends.

As a veterinary assistant at CAT, you'll have the opportunity to administer medications/treatments, prepare lab work, update medical records, and assist with surgery and recovery.

Veterinary assistants also provide support to hospital and admissions clients, and help with cleaning and stocking the medical wards.

This is a great opportunity if you are interested in working exclusively with cats in a nonprofit shelter medicine setting with a strong focus on team collaboration.

Previous experience working in a veterinary setting is preferred. Working in a shelter environment can be busy, smelly, and at times, stressful — but if purpose-driven work helping cats and people is meaningful to you, this could be a truly fulfilling role

This is an hourly position working approx hrs per week (3-4 days); weekend availability required. Most shifts are approx. 4-8 hours per day and are scheduled between the hours of 7 a.m. – 6:30 p.m. This position starts at $19.50 per hour.
