Plating Technician

The PMTC Plate Shop is part of the dynamic team at Keysight building state of the art technology.The plating shop adds precious metals to parts that will protect them from corroding and activate their conductivity.Electroplating is an area that requires extreme attention to detail to avoid damaging a product at the last step prior to shipping and coordination to ensure we meet customer expectations.To increase our team's ability to keep up with customer demand we need to have skilled individuals prep the parts for plating and assist with the final processing.These tasks can include opening parts, combining like parts for processing, using wire to string parts to a frame, removing parts from a frame, sorting good parts from plating media, as well as incoming or final inspection.This position is a support role for the plate shop but could be expanded to include plating of parts, deburring parts, removing parts from frames, packaging and final inspection.Electroplating relies heavily on documentation but the operators are responsible for finding the area of the parts to be plated in order to apply the electro current for the appropriate amount of time.Strong willingness to learn Familiarity with deburring small parts Eye for detail
