Position Summary

Must perform a variety of duties in the Employee Dining Room (EDR), such as bussing tables, stocking, storing, general cleaning, and preventative maintenance duties on machinery and facilities. Promotes and exhibits World Class Guest Service to the Isleta Resort and Casino employees and guests.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities: This list of tasks is illustrative ONLY and is not a comprehensive listing of all functions and tasks performed by positions in this class. Must perform physical receiving of all dry foodstuffs from the storeroom/kitchen on respective shifts
Maintains beverage and foodservice counters, keeping all items stocked and cleaned.
Monitors and assists all team members checking into eat.
Helps kitchen staff with food preparations, cooking and service as needed.
Keeps dining area clean and organized at all times.
Upholds all service standards as defined for the company and the position of EDR Attendant.
Performs physical storing of all foodstuffs properly
Buses tables after employee use, wipe and sanitize tables
Performs side duties such as re-filling salt & pepper shakers, replacing sugar packets, etc.
Maintains safety and sanitary laws pertaining to food handling and storage of food in the EDR
Reports any violations of policy or vender tampering to EDR Manager
Ensures safety and sanitary laws are strictly adhered to, personal hygiene requirements are implemented and maintained; therefore, any health related problems are reported immediately to EDR Manager
Handles cash transactions when necessary
Ensures the Isleta Resort and Casino uniform is worn and personal appearance is at its highest standard
Briefs the Manager on any incidents requiring his/her attention
As directed, attends regular meetings organized by management
Occasionally performs other duties as assigned

Accountability and Supervision None Education and Experience Entry Level
High School Diploma and/or General Educational Degree (GED) equivalent, preferred.
3 months cash handling experience required.
Must possess and maintain a valid Indian Health Services Food Handler's Certification, required.
Special Requirements, Licenses, and Certification Must be able to acquire and maintain Non-Key Gaming License issued through POIGRA.
Must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment drug test and background investigation.
Must be flexible with work schedule. Must be willing to work any days/hours as needed or required to meet business needs.
Must maintain all Isleta Resort and Casino-wide educational and certification requirements.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Must be able to take direction and feedback well.
Must be able to accurately and successfully perform several tasks and meet deadlines under high levels of stress and with minimal supervision.
Must possess strong organizational and time management skills while paying close attention to details such as number and measurements.
Must be able to communicate, in writing and verbally, in English and in an effective, informative, and professional manner and be able to convey denials and/or defuse hostile guest situations with ease and tact.
Must be able to perform basic arithmetic functions.
Must have essential experience operating POS (Point of Sale) systems and Cash Handling Skills
Must possess a highly developed sense of customer service and interpersonal skills including high integrity and respect for individuals.
Must possess and exhibit a positive attitude towards internal and external guests at all times.
Must possess a strong commitment to the organizational goals and objectives while showing the utmost discretion and loyalty to the organization when dealing with confidential information and data.
Must be able to work a flexible and varying schedule to include evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Must possess working knowledge of and be able to adhere to all OSHA and HACCP standards and regulations.
Physical Demands and Work Environment. Must be able to lift, move, and place 25 pounds intermittently.
Must be able to sit, stand, and/or walk for extended periods of time.
Working Conditions: Smoke filled environment, exposure to various lights and sounds. May, on occasion be required to work outdoors. Occasionally may deal with angry or hostile individuals. Must be on call at all times. May work holidays, weekends, and different shifts. May cross train in several areas of the Food & Beverage Department, and may be assigned to work in different area.
