As an OIG HOTLINE INVESTIGATOR you will be responsible for the following duties:

  • Conducting appropriate research and inquiry ensuring that the rights of the individual(s) and the best interests of the agency are protected.
  • Participating in analysis of complaints and investigative results to determine systemic problems and root causes of issues and problems.
  • Recognizing, exploring, and exploiting leads; detecting discrepancies in information; and distinguishing between relevant and irrelevant information.
  • Creating professionally competent written reports of inquiry/investigation that accurately report the facts in a concise, logical, and objective manner.
