Do you want to help us build the DNA of tech.? Vishay Marshall, MN is currently seeking applicants for a Buyer.

In this position, you will be a key player in making sure our operations have the materials, parts, components, and equipment they need to be successful.

You will use your organization skills to assist with scheduling commodity products lines while maintaining adequate lead times as well as monitor costs to assure we get the highest quality at the best value.

You'll use reasoning and negotiation skills to work with vendors and assure we can get the highest quality at the best value.


Job Location:
This position is located on-site Marshall, MN.

We are situated in Southwest Minnesota:

rural enough to have plenty of outdoor adventures but also just an hour and half East of Sioux Falls, SD.


What you will be doing:

  • You will be purchasing materials, parts, components, eqiupment, and services from suppliers.
  • You will okabm revuewm and modify schedulings of supplies to make sure production remains uniterrupted.
  • You are responsible investigating potential suppoers and products and issuing RFP's as needed.
  • You will maintain monthly purchasing related reports.
  • You ensure all items and services are properly documented and communicated.

What you will bring along:

  • Must be able to effectively communicate with internal and external customers
  • Strong negotiation skills with a focus on manufacturing environment
  • Proficient MS Office Suite skills.
  • One to three years of experience preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in related field preferred
