Duties

  • Performs operation, maintenance, and repair of equipment, buildings and facilities associated with hydro electric powerplant and dam facilities.
  • Cleans, lubricates and checks the mechanical operation of the turbines, governors, and auxiliary equipment.
  • Performs routine inspections of the mechanical and electrical equipment located within powerplant and dam facilities and communicate operating conditions to the Casper Control Center.
  • Assists other journeyman crafts such as mechanics and/or electricians.
  • Performs non specialized work in various trades such as carpentry, plumbing, welding and concrete.
