Sidney Kimmel Medical College at Thomas Jefferson University, is now accepting applications for a full-time, employed faculty position in the Department of Medicine, Division of Cardiology, in the Section of Advanced Heart Failure, at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor.
The Advanced Heart Failure program at Thomas Jefferson University is a recognized regional leader and rapidly expanding program with expertise in heart failure management, mechanical circulatory support, and cardiac transplantation.
Responsibilities will include patient care in cardiac consultative and inpatient services, outpatient clinic sessions, on-call coverage and teaching responsibilities.
Expertise and training in heart failure, mechanical circulatory support, and cardiac transplantation is required
Applicants must have:
MD/DO degree
Bo ard-certified or board-eligible in Cardiology
Board-certified or board-eligible in Heart Failure and Cardiac Transplantation
Medical License to practice medicine in Pennsylvania by the time the appointment starts.
