Job Title: Senior Infra. Architect

Remote position

Job summary

As a Sr. Infra. Architect you will be responsible for designing and implementing robust infrastructure solutions using Azure technologies. You will ensure the security and efficiency of our cloud environments giving to the overall success of our projects and the protection of our data. Your expertise will drive innovation and improve our cloud capabilities.

Roles & Responsibilities
  • Design and implement secure infrastructure solutions using Azure technologies to meet business requirements.
  • Coordinate the deployment and management of Azure Network Security Groups to ensure network security.
  • Guide in configuring and handling Azure Security Center to supervise and protect cloud resources.
  • Use Microsoft Defender for Cloud and Microsoft Defender for Servers to improve security posture.
  • Implement and handle Azure Key Vault for secure storage of keys and secrets.
  • Configure and maintain Azure Service Fabric for microservices and container orchestration.
  • Set up and handle Azure Pipelines for continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD).
  • Implement Azure DDoS Protection to safeguard against distributed denial-of-service charges.
  • Supervise and analyze cloud environments using Azure Monitor to ensure optimal performance.
  • Configure Azure Front Door for global load balancing and application acceleration.
  • Design and handle Azure Virtual Network and Azure Load Balancer for efficient network traffic distribution.
  • Implement Azure VPN Gateway for secure connectivity between on-premises networks and Azure.
  • Apply Azure Bastion for secure and flawless RDP and SSH connectivity to virtual machines.
  • Handle Azure Certificate Authority and Azure Encryption to ensure data security.
  • Configure Azure File shares for scalable and secure file storage solutions.
  • Implement Azure GMSA for secure management of service accounts.
  • Enhance IoT security using Azure IoT Security solutions.
  • Apply Azure policies and Azure RBAC to implement governance and access control.
  • Supervise and improve Azure Secure Score to maintain a strong security posture.
  • Implement Azure TLS and Azure Traffic Manager for secure and efficient traffic management.
  • Apply Azure Update Manager for patch management and compliance.
  • Ensure Azure VM Security through standard methodologies and security configurations.
  • Harden Domain Controller
Required Technical Skills :

Salary and Other Compensation:

Applications will be accepted until 7/6/2024.

The annual salary for this position is between $122,000 to $147,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
