The NT-05 pay band encompasses the GS-13 and GS-14 grades.



Duties
  • You will serve as the Naval Surface Warfare Center Indian Head Command Information Systems Security Manager (CISSM).
  • You will excercise overall responsibility for the Commands Cyber-Security (CS) Program.
  • You will coordinate daily and operational tasks of Code 1043 government and contractor personnel with the guidance of the Code 104 Activity Command Information Officer and Code 1043 Branch Manager.
  • You will manage all aspects of CS program and the development, implementation, intrepretation, accreditation, risk management and maintenance of detailed CS policies, plans, programs, and standard operations.
  • You will serve as a voting member of the NSWC IHD Code 104 Configuration Control Board (CCB) to ensure new projects and initiatives meet Department of Defense and Navy Cyber Security requirements.
  • You will assess all RDTE and operational network system processes in order to implement and develop security policies, instructions and risk assessments.
  • You will work directly with Cyber-Security Operations to ensure systems are continously monitored and results are documented per Navy Risk Management Framework requirements.
  • You will investigate, researche and grant approvals and dissaprovals for all Information Technology Purchase Requests (ITPR) to ensure compliance with DOD and DON procurement restrictions.
  • You will coordinate with the Navy Electronic Spillage center and Code 105 personnel to ensure spillages are documented, reported, and resolved in a timely manner to protect Navy information.
