Job Description: We are seeking a skilled and detail–oriented Medical Laboratory Scientist to join our dynamic team. The Medical Laboratory Scientist will perform a variety of complex laboratory procedures and analyses to assist in diagnosing, monitoring, and treating diseases. Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting routine and specialized laboratory tests in hematology, microbiology, clinical chemistry, immunology, and blood banking
- Analyzing and interpreting laboratory test results
- Operating and maintaining laboratory equipment and instruments
- Ensuring compliance with laboratory policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements (CLIA, CAP, etc.)
- Participating in quality control and quality assurance activities
- Collaborating with healthcare providers to interpret patient data and contribute to patient care decisions
- Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Science, Clinical Laboratory Science, or a related field
- ASCP certification (or equivalent) as a Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) or Medical Technologist (MT) is preferred
- Strong knowledge of laboratory procedures and techniques across various disciplines
- Experience with laboratory information systems (LIS) and proficiency in using computerized instruments and equipment
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
