Responsibilities

· Develop and maintain high-quality software solutions using SQL Server C# React JS SQL Azure JavaScript and .Net Framework.

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design implement and test new features and functionalities.

· Ensure the scalability performance and reliability of applications by conducting thorough testing and debugging.

· Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

· Oversee the integration of software solutions with existing systems ensuring seamless data flow and interoperability.

· Lead the development of technical documentation including design specifications user manuals and release notes.

· Conduct code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices promoting high-quality codebase.

· Utilize expertise in Medicare & Medicaid Claims Claims and Payer domains to develop solutions that meet industry standards and regulatory requirements.

· Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements translating them into technical specifications and actionable plans.

· Implement security best practices to protect sensitive data and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations.

· Monitor and optimize application performance identifying and resolving bottlenecks and other issues.

· Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends incorporating relevant advancements into software development practices.

· Provide support and troubleshooting for production issues ensuring timely resolution and minimal impact on users.

Qualifications

· Possess a strong background in SQL Server C# React JS SQL Azure JavaScript and .Net Framework.

· Demonstrate expertise in Medicare & Medicaid Claims Claims and Payer domains.

· Exhibit excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

· Show proficiency in developing and maintaining technical documentation.

Location: San Francisco, CA or Remote

Salary and Other Compensation:

Applications will be accepted until 8/31/2024

The annual salary for this position is between $68,422 to 114,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
