Job Summary:

Responsible for overseeing all medical services at the treatment center, providing leadership to clinical staff to ensure top-notch patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct physical examinations for all patients, including annual and health examinations, in compliance with regulations.
  • Issue medication change orders and supervise nursing staff on dosage changes.
  • Available for emergency patient care management.
  • Refer patients to primary care providers for non-addiction medical conditions.
  • Provide comprehensive training to clinical staff, including chart reviews and updates on policies and procedures.
  • Participate in board meetings to strategize and discuss performance, quality assurance, and staffing.
  • Assist in physician recruitment and interview processes.
  • Ensure compliance with all medical care regulations.
  • Attend team meetings to review patient care and suggest alternative options.
  • Label medication bottles when necessary.
  • Consult with the Corporate Medical Director on medical concerns.
  • Perform any other assigned duties.
