Join our team as an Occupational Therapist I and make a meaningful impact on patient care. In this role, you will deliver high-quality occupational therapy services, including evaluation, treatment planning, and application of therapy modalities, all while adhering to regulatory standards and the values of City of Hope National Medical Center. Your expertise will contribute to the well-being of our patients and their families.

City of Hope Occupational Therapists are driven to provide client-centered, evidence-based interventions to help patients with cancer manage cognitive, emotional, social, and physical changes throughout the continuum of cancer care. We combine our clinical expertise with a person-first approach to provide individualized, holistic services during every stage of cancer care, including new diagnosis, active treatment, survivorship, hospice, and palliative care. We analyze and problem solve strategies to maximize quality of life by facilitating occupational engagement.

Note:
Must have weekend availability, including Saturdays and Sundays

As a successful candidate, you will:

Screen patients to determine need for intervention and initiates referrals as appropriate.Demonstrate entry level skills in developing treatment goals and plans based on evaluation data, rehabilitation potential, discharge plans, and in coordination with goals and plans of patient, family and other care team members. Collaborate with physician and other healthcare professionals to ensure ongoing integrated patient care.Hospital experience is highly preferred
