Project Manager - Contract - NY/NJ
Proclinical is seeking a Non-technical Project Manager for a leading pharmaceutical company. This is a contract position located in Plainsboro, NJ but open to remote work; preference for candidates based in NYC or NJ.
Primary Responsibilities:
Successful candidate will support Project teams and Project Leads by ensuring the delivery of tasks and deliverables according to project specifications, including budget, timelines, and scope. This role is highly cross-functional and requires a high level of organization and attention to detail.
Skills & Requirements:
A Bachelor's degree in a commercial, economic, scientific, or related fieldAt least 1 year of professional relevant experience preferredWorking understanding of the pharmaceutical industry and Mergers & Acquisitions is a plusProject and/or consulting experience is a plusGood presentation skillsAptitude for creating structured top-down written and oral communicationGood analytical visualization skillsProficiency in using PC tools (PowerPoint and Excel) with an interest to improve speed and capabilitiesStrong language skills in English (written and orally)Flexibility in terms of working under tight deadlines and ambiguity/changing circumstancesThe Project Manager will:Support the integration lead by executing tasks/workstreams in line with expectationsStructure identified issues and facilitate problem-solving sessionsPrepare project plans with draft milestones and meet deadlines with high-quality outputFacilitate data gathering and capture notes from interviews with internal and external input providersStructure and execute quantitative and qualitative analyses and support the development of recommendationsPrepare slides using structured communication approachesCreate project structure via minutes, scheduling necessary project meetings, ensuring appropriate meeting cadence, etc. If you are having difficulty in applying or if you have any questions, please contact Kylie Williams at (+1) orProclinical is a specialist employment agency and recruitment business, providing job opportunities within major pharmaceutical, biopharmaceutical, biotechnology and medical device companies.
