Physician Assistant Neurosurgery will work as a First Assist in the operating room for Neurosurgery and Orthopedic Spine cases.
- Performs neurosurgery assessments and complete neurosurgery post-operative rounds on neurosurgery and orthopedic spine patients
- Performs neurosurgery consults in the Emergency Room and Trauma Bay
- Provides back-up coverage for Trauma activations when needed
Shifts: PRN 12 hour rotating shifts; some night and weekend coverage
Qualifications:
- Successful completion of Physician Assistant program which is accredited by the American Medical Association
- Minimum of 2 years Neurosurgery OR work experience
- Active Maryland PA license from Maryland Board of Physicians and current certification by the NCCPA
- Active ACLS and BLS certifications
- Active CDS and DEA licenses
- Active PECOS enrollment
