Hearing Help Providers is an Audiology private practice in Beverly Hills, CA. Our goal is to provide services related to hearing and balance disorders, including but not limited to diagnostics, hearing aids, bone anchored devices, and cochlear implants (CI). We are seeking an audiology extern who is interested in working with hearing impaired people across the lifespan. There are two locations in which the extern will practice:

1. Hearing help Providers

2. Otolaryngology department at Cedars Sinai Medical Center - In this role the audiology team provides speedy hearing evaluations prior to Ear, Nose, and Throat (ENT) appointments.

Externship site expects the extern to have mastered these skills before they begin their clinical externship: - Fundamental understanding of the connection between test results, interpretation, and implications for the patient
- 30-minute comprehensive hearing evaluations
- 30-minute pediatric hearing evaluations, including Visual Reinforcement Audiometry and Conditioned Play Audiometry
- Professional behavior, including being punctual and considerate
- Basic hearing aid troubleshooting
- Basic experience in VNG testing
- Willingness to learn Externship site expects the extern to learn/demonstrate these skills during their clinical externship: - Ability to explain information to patients in an understandable way
- All diagnostics without supervision
- All device management and counseling without supervision
- Maintain clinic reports
- Understand correct billing procedures
