Responsibilities

This individual has a high level of organizational skills and ability to prioritize. Primarily the position requires clerical skills and branches out into patient care as E.D. acuity and census requires. Must be able to work quickly and accurately and anticipate patient physician and R.N. needs. Demonstrates initiative in expanding knowledge and skills. Has an even temperament and can work well with others in high stress situations.

This position is represented by SEIU UHW and is covered by the terms and conditions of the applicable collective bargaining agreement.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Current EMT certification (CT EMT)
  • Current AHA CPR certification (CT CPRBLS)
  • Please be advised that this location requires quarterly American Heart Association (AHA) Resuscitation Quality Improvement (RQI) competency certification post-hire. This ongoing competency is required through resources internal to the facility; outside RQI competency resources are not acceptable for CommonSpirit Health compliance requirements.

Pay Range

$ $27.25 /hour
