The city of Springfield seeks qualified candidates for a Commercial Appraiser in the Assessors Department.

This position directly assists the Chairman of the Board of Assessors in the valuation and assessment of all commercial, industrial, apartments, mixed-use, and tax-exempt properties, as required by law.

The position performs complex administrative, professional, and supervisory work in analyzing and maintaining valuation date, including the development of reliable assessment standards and the regular review of assessed values.
