Summary

You will serve as an IT Specialist (INFOSEC) in the NAVY SYSTEMS MANAGEMENT ACTIVITY.

This position is in the excepted service and does not confer competitive status.



Duties
  • You will correlate Information Assurance (IA) incidents, events, and present a comprehensive picture to the Chief Information Officer (CIO).
  • You will establish and implement a system for issuing, protecting, and changing system passwords, performs security audits and creation of documentation and remediation plans.
  • You will perform project management activities through all phases of the project lifecycle (initiation, planning, executing, monitoring, controlling, and closing).
  • You will review proposed projects for adequate analysis, justification and proper consideration of supporting requirements.
  • You will develop and maintain milestones schedules as needed.
  • You will review and evaluate completed projects and systems specifications to assure performance and onsite readiness criteria are met.
