Position Overview: Efficiently and promptly process all outgoing mail for the company.
Position Responsibilities:

  • Receives, sorts, and prepares outgoing mail at regular intervals from customer service and counseling
    departments.
  • Performs duties related to the generation of printed outgoing correspondence related to DMP clients and
    counseling programs.
  • Performs various bulk mailing projects consisting of batch documents to be sent to DMP clients and creditors.
  • Completes special mailing requests for DMP and counseling clients.
  • Operates basic office equipment including but not limited to, computer, printer/copier/scanner, telephone, mail
    folding and postage meter machines and minimal computer programs.
  • Ensures mailroom equipment is functional, assists with troubleshooting, and service is performed when
    needed.
  • Picks up and drops off all mail at the Post Office or Federal Express Drop Off.
  • Keeps track of mailroom inventory, and requests orders of new supplies when necessary.
  • Maintains routine records and reports related to mailroom duties.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • High School Education.
  • Must have own vehicle for travel to and from Post Office.
  • Prior mail department experience is helpful, but not required
  • Basic computer knowledge, including Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) experience preferred.
  • Effective communications skills.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent attention to detail.


Education:

High School Diploma


Physical Demands:

  • Mobility and ability to sit, bend, reach and lift 35 lbs.
  • Listen to employees and multi-tasking abilities.
  • Able to convey information to a group or an individual.
  • Requires the ability to sit for long periods of time.
  • Some bending and stooping is required.
  • Multi-tasking with phones, computer, and employees questions. Use of finger dexterity to dial phones and use computers.

Pay Details: $18.00 per hour
