In-Field Rancher

The In-Field Rancher will be our go-to content creator for all things Impossible Ranch, including but not limited to: content ideation, production, trendjacking, and collaborating with the social team on a daily basis. This person is a self-starter, thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a genuine passion for all things social media. This role will report to the Social Media Manager.

And even those who align with our mission have heard the rhetoric of 'overly-processed' and have begun to question the integrity of plant-based meat. Our solution? To demystify the way our meat is made and introduce people to the real simplicity behind our ingredients by showing them where they come from. That's where Impossible Ranch comes in — a place where meat comes from plants and cows live long happy lives.

This is a fixed term role, set to end on August 30, 2024.

Essential Job Functions:

• Capturing engaging, "social-first" content primarily for TikTok (and occasionally some other channels) – including but not limited to BTS content of us bringing the ranch to life, farming and celebrating our plant-based ingredients, 'reality show' style content, the cast of ranch characters, and cow cuteness content overload
• Staying on top of trends / seeking new opportunities to participate in a social trend with ranch content specifically
• Collaborating with social team to ideate, develop and execute content on a weekly or daily basis
• Testing & learning — social listening to determine what ranch content works and what doesn't, then applying those learnings to future content
• Spending majority of time at Impossible Ranch capturing and editing social content
• Video editing can be done remotely
• Editing social media content through CapCut or similar tool and recommending native sounds and features where applicable
• Occasionally coordinating and facilitating ranch deliveries and setup as needed

Basic Qualifications:

• Must be willing to travel to Ranch on a regular or daily basis as needed
• Comfortable working around and/or with animals
• Must possess iPhone or quality phone camera for content creation purposes
• Willing to work on a flexible schedule

Preferred Qualifications:

• Genuine passion and enthusiasm for social media
• Experience developing social media content on TikTok (and ideally other platforms), either personally or for a brand
• Experience using CapCut video editing tool
• Thrives in a fast-paced environment
• Self-starter
• Keeps up to date with social media trends
• Proven ability to create "social-first" content
