As an IT Specialist, you will perform the following duties:


Serves as the Office of Satellite and Product Operations (OSPO) technical representative providing complex technical and analytical expertise on strategic planning regarding ground systems maintenance for continued operations and new missions and initiatives.

Manages all aspects of configuration management and its associated databases and repositories for the assigned system group.

Serves as the system owner or system owner alternate for the assigned Federal Information Security Modernization Act (FISMA) boundary, such as local area network environments and technologies.

Plans and implements the management, acquisition and use of information technology resources.

Provides complete IT management support for National Environmental Satellite, Data, and Information Service to control, plan, allocate, deploy, coordinate, and monitor the network and system resources of a real-time Satellite Mission Critical system.
