  • Leadership and Management: Directly supervises the activities of 2 or more full-time employees including Assistant Manager(s), Lead Representative(s), and Customer Service Representative(s).
  • Recruits, hires, and trains positive, enthusiastic employees for excellent customer service.
  • Develops, manages, and assigns tasks appropriately to ensure the store meets Company standards.
  • Maintains a professional and supportive image among subordinates and supervisors.
  • Schedules employees within Company guidelines to maximize customer service.
  • Implements non-discriminatory management skills while hiring, training, mentoring, and separating employees.
Store Relationships:
  • Develops positive relationships with suppliers.
  • Promotes excellent service and resolves customer complaints professionally.
  • Ensures regular attendance and a positive public image within the community.
Training and Development:
  • Prepares timely performance appraisals for employees providing proper feedback.
  • Trains employees on customer service, safety procedures, and cash handling.
  • Ensures completion of required training in a timely manner.
Communications:
  • Ensures proper and timely communication with all employees.
  • Establishes regular communication meetings with store employees and Market Manager.
Organizing and Planning:
  • Evaluates and develops action plans to reach store objectives.
  • Organizes and maintains store files and manuals.
  • Manages and supervises to ensure completion of reports and merchandise display.
  • Ensures employment-related posters are easily accessible to all employees.
Financial:
  • Analyzes daily sales to maximize profits.
  • Manages merchandise margins and accounts for all money received.
  • Notifies Market Manager of any discrepancies.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
  • High school diploma or equivalent plus 1 to 2 years of retail experience.
  • Supervisory abilities for equipment management and employee functions.
  • Computer skills for reports, inventory, and cash control.
  • Valid driver's license and dependable transportation.
  • Open availability and English communication skills.
  • Ability to perform essential duties and physical functions.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
  • Ability to work a minimum of 50 hours per week.
  • Exposure to varied temperatures and ability to lift and carry objects.
  • Handwork, pushing/pulling, bending, and communication abilities.
  • Ability to work alone and stand/walk for entire shifts.
  • May require climbing a ladder.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
  • Requires 50 hours per week, all shifts, weekends, and holidays.
  • Most work indoors with occasional outdoor tasks.
  • Exposure to cold temperatures and occasional noise.
  • Minimum direction and periodic supervision.
