Job DescriptionThe Chemist I will work under the direct supervision of a senior level Chemist, assisting and performing sample preparation and analysis of client's samples.
The position is focused on the correct testing of specimens to comply with internal procedures, industry standards, and written instructions.
Perform routine operations, maintenance, calibration, qualification, and ability to troubleshoot laboratory equipment and instruments
Preparation of samples for the final analysis
Perform operational activities of chemistry lab such as housekeeping, maintaining of notebooks, etc.
Support SGS in such a manner as to fulfill the company's mission statement, quality objectives, and safety objectives
Adhere to internal standards, policies, and procedures
Perform other duties as assigned
