We are currently in need of a Groundskeeper / Maintenance Technician to join our team at a 128-unit apartment community in Goshen, OH.

$1,500 sign on bonus included*Subject to change; restrictions apply

Position Summary:

As a Groundskeeper / Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and order of the office, building, amenity areas, and grounds. Your role also involves general property maintenance to ensure a positive living environment for our residents.

Responsibilities:

  • Preserve the appearance of the office, building, and grounds
  • Ensure the property is clean and orderly
  • Support in cleaning and painting vacant apartments
  • Carry out light landscaping tasks
  • Stay vigilant for necessary repairs or replacements
  • Address work requests for common areas and apartment units
  • Conduct preventive maintenance on the property
  • Inspect and fix appliances when needed
  • Assist in preparing vacant units for new residents
  • Occasional on-call duties (with trip stipend for after-hours callbacks)
  • Establish and maintain a safe work environment

Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in groundskeeping is advantageous
  • Customer service focus
  • Basic painting skills
  • Availability to work evenings and weekends as required
  • 1 - 2 years of maintenance experience is a plus
  • Basic knowledge of electrical systems, plumbing, and painting
  • Preferably HVAC and EPA experience
  • CPO certification is a bonus
  • Valid driver's license and insurance may be necessary
