Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Deliver care appropriate for an outpatient, primary care FQHC with a multicultural, multilingual patient population.
  • Prescribe or administer treatment, therapy, medication, vaccination, and other specialized medical care to treat or prevent illness, disease, or injury.
  • Prescribe medication in accordance with the Pennsylvania statue and professional practice guidelines.
  • Provide quality care to patients according to clinical medical protocols and funding source guidelines.
  • Promotes health by advising patients concerning diet, hygiene, and methods for prevention of disease.
  • Instruct patients and family regarding medications, treatment instructions, and provide patient education.
  • Triage patient telephone calls and provide consultation.
  • Perform thorough evaluations and assessments of patients presenting with general health and sports-related concerns.
  • Develop personalized treatment plans tailored to the individual needs of each patient, incorporating evidence-based practices and the latest advancements in primary care.
  • Collaborate closely with other healthcare professionals, including primary care physicians, and other specialists, to ensure coordinated care and optimal patient outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, including patient assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and diagnostic test results, in compliance with regulatory standards and best practices.
  • Stay informed about advancements in primary care and family medicine research, technology, and treatment modalities through ongoing continuing education and professional development activities.
  • Performs other job duties as assigned.


Qualifications/Requirements

  • Medical degree from an accredited medical school.
  • Board certification in Family Medicine.
  • Completion of a Family Medicine residency program.
  • Current state medical license.
  • DEA registration.
  • Excellent clinical skills and diagnostic acumen.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centered care.
  • Proficiency in musculoskeletal ultrasound and other point-of-care diagnostic techniques.
  • Dedication to promoting health and wellness in the community.
  • Experience in electronic health records.
