Duties

As a Supervisory Park Ranger, your duties will include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Administer and manage recreational special use permits including process permit requests, issue permits, collect client use day reports and fees, and summarize public use data.
  • Work with Alaska Natives or other Native American individuals or organizations to provide outreach on fish and wildlife, resource management, or conservation topics.
  • Coordinate with other federal, state, and local agencies and other interested parties to integrate events such as hunting and fishing seasons.
  • Recruit, interview, and select employees in accordance with federal guidelines and regulations.
