You will set up, perform and lead subordinate technicians in appropriate wet and instrumental analyses required by the National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) and the Safe Drinking Water Act.
You will interpret and evaluate analytical results to determine validity and significance and to ensure that programs are proceeding accordingly.
You will provide written reports, charts, and laboratory records stating analytical results and interpretations, with conclusions and recommendations.You will manage the laboratory safety / hygiene program.
You will be required to know and understand technical references, standard methods, regulatory guidelines and instructions, established policies and procedures, directives, and industry standard laboratory procedures.
