General Summary of Position
The incumbent in this position is responsible for providing competent professional nursing care using the nursing process. These functions are performed in accordance with all applicable laws and regulations and Medstar Georgetown University Hospital's philosophy, policies, procedures, and standards.
Schedule
0630 to 1700 or 0700 to 1730, schedule dependent and requires at least
one shift per week.
Minimum Qualifications
Education
Experience
3-4 years Recent acute care experience in the relevant patient care area RequiredLicenses and Certifications
Current D.C. license as a Registered Professional Nurse Required Certification in Basic Life Support Required Certification in specialty or related specialty PreferredKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Ability to perform the nursing technologies.Effective verbal and written communication skills.Ability to set priorities and work under stress.
