As a Part-Time Surveying Instructor, you will be committed to facilitating learning using the most up to date pedagogy, technology, and discipline specific knowledge. All faculty are responsible for teaching in all modalities and keeping current in new modalities that develop in higher education. QUALIFICATIONS:
Required Qualifications:

Commensurate with State of Oregon requirements of respective academic and/or technical field:Associate degree or the equivalentAt least 3 years of experienceHold a current Fundamental Land Surveyor (FLS) licensePreferred (Not Required) Qualifications:A minimum of 3 years community college teaching experienceA minimum of five years of verifiable experience related to the field with at least 18 months under a Professional Land Surveyor License (PLS)Online instruction experience preferred, classroom teaching experience desirableA bachelor's degree is preferred for CTE facultyProficient in AutoCAD, and one or all of the following software's: Civil 3D, Traverse PC, and RoadENGAbility to properly Operate Total Stations, GPS equipment, and all other surveying support equipment.Skilled in all survey calculations from cadastral surveying to road design, topographic map interpretations, platting, and drafting.Knowledge of design, marking, and stakeout procedures.Ability to write legal descriptions and surveys to ALTA/NSPS survey standards.Demonstrated ability to professionally communicate with team members, clients, students, and the public.SUPPLEMENTAL INFORMATION
