As the Operations Strategic Planner you are responsible to drive strategic projects and support the operations organization. You identify, evaluate and analyze challenges and draw conclusions using high-level analytical skills. Common responsibilities include strategic operations analyses, identifying performance trends, scanning business/ industry trends, reviewing sales/ financial analyses and interpreting data. Strong communication skills throughout the organization are essential to fulfill this role.

In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

• Analyze challenges within operations and supply chain and find business solutions.
• Identify operations and supply chain industry trends and analyze business data.
• Provide data and detailed project recommendations to all levels to support strategic business decision making.
• Synthesize findings from analysis and make verbal/ written recommendations to the management
• Use quantitative skills to drive projects
• Prepare and deliver insights and recommendations based on analyses
• Proactively support the Vice President with Business presentations and relevant data insights.

For This Role, You Will Need:

• A bachelors degree in economics, business, operations or related fields.
• Relevant production and supply chain experience, business analysis or related fields.
• Excellent Excel and PowerPoint skills and basic knowledge of business intelligence software.
• Strong analytical skills and like to work closely with people in production and supply chain.
• Ability to set priorities and cope with tight schedules.
• Proficiency in English, verbally and written. German is an advantage.
• An eagerness to learn and have an intrinsic curiosity for business processes and results.

Since the invention of the modern pipe wrench in 1923, the 25-acre RIDGID world headquarters in Elyria, OH has been developing tools that help trades professionals tackle jobs faster, safer, and more accurately. Today, more than 600 employees work in 734K sq. ft. of office and manufacturing space. The campus is also home to a factory tool service center and an innovative "schoolhouse" training center that educates and trains hundreds of tradespersons annually.
