Job Summary:
The Division of Cardiology within the Department of Pediatrics at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health is recruiting a Pediatric Cardiologist with an interest and expertise in Electrophysiology.
We are looking for candidates with a track record of clinical excellence and academic contributions as demonstrated through training and/or practice experience.
Members of the Division of Cardiology strive to maintain excellence in clinical care, education, and research. The division recognizes that excellence in pediatric cardiovascular medicine and surgery requires a well-coordinated team approach to care.Important contributors to divisional activities include physicians (pediatric specialists in cardiology, cardiovascular surgery, critical care medicine, anesthesiology and perfusion, and high-risk obstetricians), nurse practitioners, registered nurses, echocardiography technicians, exercise physiologists, and our patients, their families, and their referring physicians.

The Department of Pediatrics at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health is a vibrant academic department comprising more than 200 faculty members in 16 subspecialty divisions.

Completion of an ACGME-approved pediatric residency program is required.
Completion of an accredited fellowship program in Pediatric Cardiology with a 4th year in Electrophysiology is required.
Experience in an academic medical setting preferred.
For an appointment at Associate Professor or Professor rank on the CHS or CT Track, candidates will meet criteria established by the department as outlined in the School of Medicine and Public Health guidelines for appointment or promotion to Associate Professor or Professor on the CHS or CT Track.

Board certification or board eligibility in Pediatrics through the American Board of Pediatrics is required.
Board certification or board eligibility in Pediatric Cardiology through the American Board of Pediatrics is required.
Candidate is required to have or be eligible for a Wisconsin medical licensure.
Must be eligible for enrollment as a billing provider and for all necessary hospital privileges.
