Planate Management Group (PMG) is a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) headquartered in Alexandria, Virginia, and Orlando, Florida USA with technical support centers in South East Asia and East Africa, that provide program management and facilities engineering services worldwide.Planate is a small business provider of planning, design, infrastructure management, technical consulting, engineering, and construction management services in support of the US Department of Defense (DOD) and its Service (Army, Air Force, Navy, Marine Corps) missions, along with other US federal agencies, all over the world.As an Industrial Hygienist, you will play a vital role in supporting the facilitation of VAPAHCS' Green Environmental Management Program and Green Environmental Management System (GEMS).You will be responsible for ensuring safety and occupational health across all hospital operations.Develop, implement, and assess policies and procedures for waste management, renewable energy, recycling, and pollution reduction and prevention.Conduct surveys and collect samples to identify hazardous conditions (e.g., noise dosimetry testing, mold surveys, air quality surveys).Maintain records and documents related to industrial hygiene and environmental management activities.Assist with various safety-related activities under the supervision of a government-provided subject matter expert, including Occupational Safety and Health, Life Safety, Fire Safety, Construction Safety, and Emergency Management.
