We are looking for a stockroom clerk (m/f/d) in part-time (3 days a week with 8 hours each) to start as a contingent worker. This position is part of the operations and will be located in Sterling, VA.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • handle stocking material from incoming receipts.
  • be responsible for packaging and protection of stored material.
  • issue material to the work orders on-time according to the schedule.
  • participate in cycle counts and inventory control.
  • perform data entry operations to continually update the on-hand inventory.
  • verify transaction-posting accuracy.
  • identify ways to effect cost reductions.
  • identify problems and suggests corrective action.
  • ensure the stockroom equipment is in safe operating condition and promptly address any equipment issues within 24 hours.
  • other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • High School diploma required
  • 1-2 years stockroom experience
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in MS Office
