The Sr. Trust & Safety Compliance Manager will oversee platform compliance projects for content and user safety. As part of the Brand Safety team at WEBTOON, you will join a team of trust and safety professionals dedicated to maintaining user and platform safety through research, policy, and advocacy. Our Brand Safety team works at the intersection of technology, legal and compliance, user operations, content publishing, and entertainment. You must be detail-oriented, visual, and self-motivated, with strong verbal and written communications skills.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
Lead strategy and operations for platform and user safety compliance; prepare reports and briefings related to regulatory compliance requirements for Americas, EU, and AsiaLead monthly policy and compliance meetings/forums with internal stakeholdersSupport the development and implementation of our trust and safety policies for existing and new product features, based on regulatory compliance requirements, in close collaboration with Legal teams.Resolve escalated inquiries and issues regarding copyright and privacy.Assist with a broad set of activities that support policy development and implementation in the company for platform campaigns and events MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:Education: B.A./B.S. in related fields, JD preferred, but not required5+ years' experience in trust and safety or related fields (must have experience in UGC moderation)Strong proficiency with technology and online project management systems: SharePoint, MS Office, Airtable Must have experience working with ZendeskProficiency in Excel and/or SQL, and experience preparing data and research-based reportsCulturally aware of trends and pop culture in United States, LATAM, EU, and AsiaInterested in content policy, compliance, and/or internet governanceAbility to manage risk and balance organizational needsMust have experience working with multicultural companyWHAT WE OFFER:Career development; we believe in mentorship and investing in your learning, supporting you to achieve your goalsHealth benefits, including vision and dentalGenerous PTO and Parental Leave Top-up401K Contributions Commuter Benefits Global WEBTOON and LINE FRIENDS discount programWinter break shutdown and a whole lot more WEBTOON is owned by South Korea's internet conglomerate Naver.
