OverviewAbacus Technology is seeking a Video Teleconference (VTC) Technician to provide technical support to Picatinny Arsenal. This is a full-time position.
Responsibilities Provide on-site video-teleconference (VTC) support services.

Maintain IT equipment in support of conference rooms and for providing the Government all information/costs regarding maintenance and upgrades to the conference room IT equipment.

Provide NIPRNET and SIPRNET desktop support to those PCs, and VTC equipment not already maintained by an existing maintenance contract.

Provide support for the scheduling and related coordination of the rooms, and for the daily upkeep and maintenance of IT equipment.

Provide support and troubleshooting during bridge or VTC calls. Support cybersecurity and security directives. Schedule bridges as needed. Install/configure software and firmware updates as necessary. Assist in performing yearly reviews of the accreditation, or whenever changes/additions are made to the system. Provide on-site video teleconference (VTC) support services.
Qualifications3+ years experience installing, configuring, operating, and maintaining audio and visual teleconferencing equipment. Must be Security+ CE certified. Must be Cisco (or similar technology) certified or able to obtain certification within three months of hire. Knowledge of Tandberg, Cisco, or any other equivalent VTC Bridging Technologies and operations, maintenance and scheduling. Knowledge of and ability to communicate VTC support concepts to technical and nontechnical personnel. Able to develop technical documents and produce system design documentation. Project a positive image and professional manner at all times. Must be a US citizen and hold a current Secret clearance.
