Must be able to perform work without more than normal supervision.

Receives assignments through Information Work Management System, supervisors or work leaders; responds to building emergencies; develops work plans and layouts from verbal requests and sketches to meet a variety of unique and critical requirements.

Installs, modifies, repairs, maintains, troubleshoots, tests and operate electrical and electronic lines, circuits, systems and associated fixtures, controls, equipment, standby UPS systems, medium voltage switching stations and generators.

Work requires nonstandard applications that lack clear precedent and require extensive modifications to fabricate, install, troubleshoot and modify electrical and electronic controls, monitoring systems and equipment to meet unique conditions.

Responsible for the power distribution lines and circuits that supply a wide range of voltage, amperage, phase and frequency requirements to a variety of equipment.

Works from building plans, wiring diagrams, drawings and electrical maintenance and repair manuals; plans and lays out routing, placement, size, gauge, balance, load, continuity and safe operation of lines, circuits, systems, equipment and controls.

Performs complete electrical wiring or rewiring projects for building segments and structures. Connects completed electrical circuits to power source and works on energized equipment.
