Spend the summer at Cultus Lake Resort, Central Oregon's premier rustic lakeside lodge with cabins and high speed watercraft. Work with our small team to provide memorable summertime family vacations for our wonderful guests.

Housing: There is a 5 bedroom dorm on the property with a single room available. There is a housing fee of $150/mo, deducted from your paycheck, for a private bedroom in staff housing, however upon completion of your work agreement all housing costs are gifted back to each employee as a bonus. Pets are only considered for employees living in their own RV, not for employees living in shared staff housing. Due to our remote location, we require that all employees bring their own personal vehicle.

The Marina Rental Associate is responsible for carrying out all operations/functions for the marina, providing excellent customer service for our rental and moorage guests. Must project a professional image through all types of interactions and be able to work under pressure in a fast paced environment. Duties include greeting and assisting guests, educating customers on boating safety and operations, routinely operating motor and water vehicles, evaluating equipment for damages, cleaning vessels, and any other duties assigned by management in or out of the marina. Must have excellent customer service skills, be a highly effective communicator, remain calm and positive at all times, be able to work in extreme weather conditions, and have excellent attention to detail. Must obtain an Oregon Boating License.

The ideal candidate will also have maintenance experience, including carpentry, plumbing, light electrical, small appliance repair, and small motor experience is preferred but not required.

This individual is eligible to participate in our marina and store tip pool, providing a significant bump in pay throughout July and August. This position is seasonal and will end after labor day weekend.

Being a team player is essential to fostering an environment where employees trust each other. While each individual is hired for a particular role, we expect all employees to be willing to pitch in where necessary to help their teammates, whether the tasks are directly related or wholly unrelated to the job you were hired for. As such, we require all employees to be physically able to do the following.

  • The ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • The ability to move safely over uneven terrain
  • The ability to be walking or standing for long portions of the day
  • The ability to safely climb ladders
  • The ability to work in extreme weather
  • The ability to respond quickly to sounds and to see and respond to dangerous situations
  • The ability to operate a work vehicle or UTV, with a valid drivers license

Throughout the season and especially early and late in the season, employees may be asked to perform functions outside of their normal roles, such as participating in groundskeeping projects (pine needle clean-up, debris removal, etc), participating in maintenance projects (painting, staining, sealing, etc) and cabin cleaning.
