As a Materials Analyst and to help us drive excellence, you'll get to:

· Represents Materials Department to support Plant Customer Service and Materials Analysts with daily Customer and Supplier responsibilities. May include plant travel for support/training. Travel is expected, as needed, up to 25% of the time.

· Understands Customer Requirements as defined by Customer's Supplier Delivery Manual. Maintains database of Customer's Supplier Delivery Manual. Maintains training documentation for customer specific requirements.

· Supports plant balance out numbers for both Customer and Suppliers. Supports plant filing of Obsolete Claim Process, per customer required process.

· Oversees annual Plant Shipping and Receipt Accum Rollback, as required by the customer, including internal customer/supplier Autokiniton relationships.

· Manages annual MMOG audit compliance process, including maintaining third-part software licensing, system training, and plant timing for completion.

· Supports Plant Materials and Corporate IT on EDI interaction with our customers and suppliers.

· Assist plants in the purchase and release of materials to meet customer and plant requirements. Follow established centralized purchasing policies.

· Maintain Item Master Planning Parameters to support inventory objectives and ensure inventory levels support production plans.

· Supports plant to coordinate material needs for launch and engineering change activities.

· Materials Dept. data entry to include, but not limited to, Shippers, ASNs, and customer purchase orders, emails, etc. Maintenance of QAD as it applies to Shipping and customer orders.

· Works with Corporate Quality to manage supplier ratings, SRIS system and corresponding action to meet Autokiniton requirements and demands. Compiles and reports to Materials Leadership.

· Supply daily, weekly, monthly, and annual reports as required. (Weekly MRP and vendor releases, monthly vendor evaluations, etc.).

· Identify and communicate any supply chain shortages to Materials Leadership

This full-time role is a part of our Corporate Materials team and reports to the Materials Director.

Required sills & experience:

· Bachelor's Degree in related field or equivalent experience.

· Minimum of three (3) or more years' experience in OEM customer support

· Customer Portal expertise

· Ability to use Microsoft Office software.

· Must be proficient with Excel at an Intermediate level.

· Excellent follow-up and accountability skills.

· Knowledge of ERP systems (ie. QAD)

· Excellent organizational, analytical and communication skills.

· Ability to work well with others in a team environment.
