Nishmat Adin is searching for a Head of School who can build upon the infrastructure already in place and grow the school, elevating it to the next level. This dedicated leader will lead the school with clarity and mission alignment, articulating vision for the role and for the school and galvanizing the professional team to implement it. Nishmat Adin is seeking a confident and collaborative leader, with a record of competence and excellence, who will create a strategic plan to fulfill the following priorities:

Lead the actualization of the mission, vision and founding philosophies of the school.

Lead and enhance the educational program by engaging in continuous improvement of scope and sequence, curricula, beneficial educational opportunities and strategic partnerships.

Nurture and grow the school's professional staff by recruiting key faculty and promoting professional development for current faculty that enables a more robust academic program and that incorporates critical thinking and differentiated learning opportunities.

Build a community of collaboration , team-building, and accountability through inspirational and positive leadership.

Help develop broad community support , to aid in both student recruitment and fundraising initiatives.

Develop school processes that enable it to grow as a school of excellence . The Head of School will work to develop all of the necessary building blocks to enable Nishmat Adin to become a school of excellence, preparing for it to undergo the process of accreditation at the right time, which will further help build school credibility and community confidence.

An ideal candidate for Head of School at Nishmat Adin would have the following qualities:

Commitment to Nishmat Adin's Mission and Core Values , through demonstration of a commitment to a school guided by Torah, desire for excellence of General and Judaic Studies, love and respect for all, an uplifting and inspiring leadership style, prioritization of the student experience, creation of an inclusive environment for students of varied backgrounds and observance, and a commitment to shaping the highest caliber graduate in thoughts and deeds.

Experienced and Passionate Educator , who recognizes the potential and invests in the success of each student. A successful candidate would have expertise in and ongoing learning of current educational methods and developments. He or she should be effective in designing and/or implementing effective curricula. He or she should hold high expectations for the educational caliber and continued development of faculty.

Committed to Ideals of Professionalism , producing high-quality results, acting with accountability towards his or her commitments and with excellent time-management and organizational skills. A successful candidate would operate with financial prudence, communicate promptly and effectively, preserve confidentiality, maintain a professional demeanor, and represent the school positively to others.
