New Mexico United seeks to hire an outgoing and reliable Part-Time Retail Associate to assist customers visiting the Team Shop. The Retail Associate is responsible for all sales activities and job duties from greeting customers, answering questions, and offering merchandise assistance, such as suggesting items and providing product information. The Retail Associate should maintain a professional attitude with sincerity and enthusiasm reflecting the Team Shop's commitment to our customers.
KEY Responsibilities:
  • Greeting customers, responding to questions, improving engagement with merchandise and providing outstanding customer service.
  • Operating the cash register, processing credit card transactions, and balancing drawers.
  • Answering telephone calls with customer service questions and issues.
  • Directing customers to merchandise within the Team Shop.
  • Superior product knowledge.
  • Increase in Team Shop sales.
  • Maintaining an orderly appearance throughout the retail floor.
  • Setting up merchandise displays on the retail floor and maintaining the back-stockroom.
  • Aiding customers in fitting rooms.
  • Assisting with inventory stock counts.
  • Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma/GED required.
  • 2+ years of retail sales/customer service experience preferred.
  • Must be able to work weekends and holidays.
  • A professional appearance.
  • Maintain a positive attitude and focus on customer service satisfaction in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to lift 25+ lbs.
  • The ability to read, write, and perform basic math.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
