SOS Business Solutions is URGENTLY seeking a Human Resources and Payroll Management Consultant.
Scope of Work: to assist in the analysis of two major departments in a local school district regarding operational performance and integrity. This analysis will clarify areas of strength and weakness and will develop key objectives for improvement and functionality to comply with State and Federal Regulations. The areas for analysis are Human Resources (HR) and Payroll.
The selected candidate will be expected to have proven expertise in HR management consulting services, Payroll best practices, and state and federal policies as they relate to school districts, and will be responsible for assisting in creating guidelines for the District's HR and Payroll department to implement for ongoing success. The consultant will also be responsible for assisting with the framework for the eventual Board of Education's review. Presentations to the Board of Education may be required at key points in the process of developing system measures and reporting results.
Requirements:
People-oriented and results-driven
Demonstrable experience with human resources metrics
Knowledge of HR systems and databases
Ability to architect strategy along with leadership skills
Excellent active listening, negotiation, and presentation skills
Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company -Provide certification(s) necessary to perform services as identified in the scope of work. -Criminal background check -Documentation of PPD test (within five years) -Child Protection Registry clearance -Favorable Drug Screen Test Results
