• Perform scheduled and emergency tooling repair, maintenance, cleaning, and set-up of self-contained Molds.

• Inspect, build, and maintain tooling and part fixtures using turning, milling, and grinding operations.

• Programming, set-up, and operation of CNC equipment

• Recommend changes to mold designs to improve life of the tooling and correct Mold issues.

• Assist in troubleshooting of tooling on the production floor in the molding machines, and on the bench.

• Thorough knowledge and understanding of tooling, tool room practices, and fabricating techniques.

• Understand hot runner tool function, and trouble shooting.

• Assist in the training of class B toolmakers and toolmaker apprentices.

• Participate in plant-wide safety efforts.

• Ordering parts using an ERP system (Oracle)

• Other duties as assigned

• Minimum four years related experience.

• Proficiency in Creo design or other mold design packages

• Strong mechanical aptitude

• Strong mathematical skills

• Strong organizational skills
