Summary

You will serve as a ELECTRICIAN LEADER in the ELECTRICAL SHOP, PRODUCTION RESOURCES DEPARTMENT of PORTSMOUTH NAVAL SHIPYARD.



Duties
  • You will maintain close observation of all work operations and assures proper adherence to procedures and guidelines.
  • You will provide on the job training for workers under his/her leadership.
  • You will ensure assigned work procedures, process instructions, and work-related shipyard instructions and processes are being followed.
  • You will ensure that workers under his/her leadership have the necessary plans, procedures, blueprints, instructions, and tools to perform their work operations.
  • You will perform electrician work in areas of nuclear electrical systems and equipment such as valve position indicators, resistance temperature detectors, nuclear instrumentation equipment, pressure detectors and rod control equipment.
